Description:
The HVAC RNC Superintendent oversees the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC systems for residential and new construction projects. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality workmanship and compliance with all codes and standards. The superintendent acts as the primary on-site leader for the HVAC team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all HVAC installation activities for residential and new construction projects.
- Manage and lead HVAC crews, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and company standards.
- Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to plan workflow and resource allocation.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and troubleshoot installation issues as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other trades to maintain project timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and material tracking.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to HVAC team members.
- Monitor project budgets, labor costs, and material usage to minimize waste and overruns.
- Ensure proper commissioning, testing, and handover of HVAC systems to clients

- Proven experience as an HVAC Superintendent, preferably in residential and new construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and building codes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA, HVAC technician license) preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and construction environments.
- Capability to climb ladders, lift equipment, and perform physical tasks as needed.
Work Environment:
- On-site supervision of residential and new construction projects.
- Regular interaction with clients, subcontractors, and other trades.
