We are currently seeking a Spring Law Clerk to join our Employment Department. This position is ideal for a 2L (preferred) or 3L law student with a strong interest in employment law. Prior experience in employment or civil litigation is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting motions and pleadings
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Preparing discovery responses and correspondence
- Supporting case management and trial preparation
Requirements
- Must be available to work at least 18 hours per week (part-time)
- Currently enrolled as a 2L or 3L law student
- General knowledge of California Civil Procedure
- Excellent legal writing and research skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual
- Strong communication and client service skills - must be comfortable speaking with clients daily
Salary: $25.00/hour
