DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for credible and motivated Operations Generalist with a “whatever it takes” attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Always focus on safety –safety training and direction must be always adhered to.Perform required services on fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, emergency eyewash stations and AEDs according to established safety requirements on-site with our customersVarious customer VMI and Vending deliveriesVarious warehouse activities, including but not limited to- picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away.Provide accurate and dependable delivery of allocated productPrepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.Must complete daily vehicle inspection and make direct supervisor aware of any issues that might require attention.

Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.Reporting directly to Services and Warehouse Leadership in alignment with other members of the management team.Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.Skills and Requirements: 

Strong organizational, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong time management skills.Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen.Valid Driver’s License. (Vehicle Transit Van or 16” boxtruck).Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred).Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus.
