Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing

We offer USA based engineering, fabrication and assembly services combined with our ability to transition volume production to our manufacturing locations in China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. 

Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and evaluating customer requirements. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Respond to incoming sales inquiries from engaged in the sale and manufacturing of heatsinks, fans, machined parts, sheet metal, die castings, hardware, plastics, and other mechanical parts.

• Make fan and heatsink drawings, get quotes from vendors then send quote to customer, and following up on quotes.

• Update and check drawings, manage vendor engineers, handle quality or corrective action issues, ship samples, inspect incoming parts, help to select heatsinks and fans, engage with thermal engineers to do thermal simulations.

• Improve mechanical designs, go to see customers to generate new sales or regarding engineering issues.
• Request DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback from vendor, interact with vendor buyers to place orders, help customers with technical engineering questions, physical thermal testing, making 2d and 3d engineering drawings from either Solidworks or ProE and 2d drawings from AutoCAD.

 Job Skills & Qualifications

Required 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ year of engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Hands on experience in Solidworks, ProE, AutoCAD.

Preferred 

• Experience in the metal part manufacturing company. 
• Legal work authority without visa support.
