CHMC – Food Service Worker– Full Time- Day Shift –6:30a-6:30p- -Requisition 8976
This is an 8 hour shift. If you start at 6:30a you will work until 2:30p, 7a-3, 8a-4, 10a-6:30p etc.
Pay Range: $17.77-$23.06*
Job Summary:
You will perform duties that combine both food preparation and food service, with general functions related to production, sanitation, and customer service. You may specialize as a cafeteria worker, caterer, clerk, cook, or dietary supervisor. Your responsibilities will include arranging tables and decorations, cleaning and organizing eating and and service areas, and collecting and returning dirty dishes to the kitchen for washing. You'll need to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers, and accurately document information as needed.
Qualifications

High School graduate/G.E.D. preferred.

1-2 years of food service work experience preferred.

Must have knowledge of customer and personal service principles.

Must be able to recognize the age-specific needs of patients and customers and adapt services accordingly.
