POSITION SUMMARY:
The Intern develops a broad understanding of process and efficiency initiatives while performing duties designed to support the company’s objectives. This position collaborates with the Process & Efficiency team to optimize usage of digital signatures, develop policy and procedure framework, and identify the process and workflow needs of business units. The Intern learns fundamental principles while supporting the team with daily initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Process & Efficiency and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission.

This position collaborates with the Process & Efficiency team to optimize usage of digital signatures, develop policy and procedure framework, and identify the process and workflow needs of business units. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in initiatives to optimize usage of digital signatures including research to identify best practices
- Draft digital signature guidelines
- Participate in discussions with business units regarding digital signature improvements
- Assist in developing policy and procedure framework, creating document templates, and converting current documents to new templates
- Partner with business units to move documents into the document management system
- Develop and update process description documents to support the building of workflows
- Partner with business units to identify process and workflow needs including assistance with drafting and updating solution design documents
- Attend training as requested
- Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
- Participate in outside community activities as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a college/university degree program
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard software applications
- Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teammates
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain working knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and systems
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
