Responsibilities:
This role is within the Horizon Credit Union Human Resources team to conduct full cycle training to new hire orientation and new hire training to current team members. This role plays a key role in fostering positive and engaging relationship management with all levels of employment to develop, pilot, and present comprehensive and engaging training. Strong interpersonal networking with senior level management teams to ensure that all training material is in conjunction with line of business functions, compliance, policy, and procedures. Supports a current workforce for ongoing training development, piloting training content, and adapting to feedback as training material is often reviewed. You will do everything from creating design documents, developing compelling content, testing and deploying content, establishing training plans, overseeing translations, measuring results, and more.
You will be responsible for:
  • Assigning and maintaining company-wide training (required and elective).
  • Managing training compliance tracking, reporting and documentation.
  • Coordinating with departments to support role-specific and departmental training initiatives.
  • Monitoring training completions and following up with managers to ensure accountability.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, guides, and digital learning content to support identified training needs.
  • Review the effectiveness of training programs using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in training, instructional design, learning and development or employee development programs
  • Strong ability to communicate with multiple lines of business leaders to develop key function training.
  • Adaptable to feedback as training content is often reviewed.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance numerous tasks at once given time.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) a plus
  • Credit Union or banking experience a plus.
Pay Rate:
$17:55 per hour
