We are currently seeking an experienced:
ACCOUNTANT I
Full Time, Days
JOB SUMMARY:
- Prepare and record journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of the entries
- Maintain the financial reports and general ledger accounts while ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Researching and correcting account discrepancies
- Meeting all monthly and ad-hoc reporting deadlines
- Assisting with audits and other inquiries as needed
- Team oriented
- Organized and attention to detail required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel and other basic computer skills.
- Must possess accounting knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Must be detail oriented and keep information accurate and organized.
- Highly ethical with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
- Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage or PACE program is preferred but not required.
