We are currently seeking an experienced:

ACCOUNTANT I

Full Time, Days

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Prepare and record journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of the entries
  • Maintain the financial reports and general ledger accounts while ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Researching and correcting account discrepancies
  • Meeting all monthly and ad-hoc reporting deadlines
  • Assisting with audits and other inquiries as needed
  • Team oriented
  • Organized and attention to detail required

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel and other basic computer skills. 
  • Must possess accounting knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. 
  • Must be detail oriented and keep information accurate and organized. 
  • Highly ethical with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.  
  • Working knowledge of Medicare Advantage or PACE program is preferred but not required.
