 We are growing, newly added Production headcount to help with new customer orders!

Job Summary: Coordinate the daily activities of the production department to support the operational objectives and customer requirements.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the master schedule to dictate daily production requirements and priorities.
  • Coordinate continuous improvements of manufacturing processes to ensure safety, product quality, on time delivery, cost, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new departmental initiatives, policies, and programs.
  • Work with Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Human Resources to ensure the facility is properly staffed and trained.
  • Work with appropriate personnel to ensure that adequate training, discipline, advancement, etc. is properly administered and maintained.
  • Coordinate the activities of Supervisors to support the execution of the production schedule in a safe, productive, and profitable manner. 
  • Report IVOP and complete shift reporting daily, or as required.
  • Work with the Quality department to ensure that work instructions related to production are accurate and current.
  • Use ERP/MRP to ensure all production needs are planned and obtainable.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality System and other regulations as related to production. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.  

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of manufacturing support coordination management experience.
  • Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices and methodologies.
  • ERP MRP experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Driven by process improvement and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced production environment.
  • The ability to lead, mentor, and train in a team environment.
  • Ability to make judgements and decisions based on company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work standing for extended periods of time and maintain dexterity when handling parts and components.
  • Must be able to perform moderate to heavy physical demand involving lifting and moving of equipment.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, hoist, and pallet jack.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong math skills.
  • English language proficiency to include verbal and written communication.
  • High School Diploma or GED minimum; some college preferred.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
