About this position

SGA Design Group is seeking a proactive team player to join us in our Bentonville office as a Team Administrator. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that provides architectural services for major brands across the country.  You'll be working with design professionals on ground-up buildings, remodels, and special projects. This role bridges the gap between architectural design, entitlement processes, and detailed specification writing. 


Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibilities include providing various support services to architectural teams.
    • Entitlement Processing- Research and interpret zoning ordinances, codes, and other regulatory frameworks to guide project feasibility and compliance.
    • Architectural Specification Writing- Develop detailed architectural specifications to communicate design intent, materials, and construction standards to stakeholders and contractors.
    • Other support functions include managing RFIs; managing schedules; tracking contracts and submittals; coordinating staff communication; typing change orders; creating and maintaining various filing systems; and other tasks as assigned.

 Candidate Qualifications

  • EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an architecture or engineering firm. Candidate must also have proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • SKILLS: Ideal candidate will be motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, good computer skills, and can work independently and/or in a team environment.
