About this position
TRP Sumner, PLLC, a busy and growing accounting firm located in Dunn, is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Administrative Assistant position. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented professional to support the daily operations of our office and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office
- Answer incoming calls, schedule meetings, and welcome and assist visitors
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks including filing, typing, copying, assembling documents, and scanning
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail
- Support the team through strong organizational and communication skills
- Ensure proper functioning of office equipment by performing preventative maintenance, coordinating repairs, and maintaining inventory
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested information in a timely and professional manner
- Manage office supply inventory by monitoring levels, anticipating needs, and placing and expediting orders
- Contribute to overall team efforts and assist with other duties as needed
Schedule:
- Normal office hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
- Flexible scheduling (minimum 30 hours) is available for the right candidate.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a strong plus and will place you at the top of the candidate list
