Job Title: Field Service Technician Department: Rochester ShopLocation: Rochester, New YorkReports To: Assistant Service Manager Job OverviewThe Service & Repair Technician performs hands-on technical services for a wide variety of pumps, controls and other types of rotating equipment. This position requires a motivated professional with a high degree of technical aptitude to provide both in-shop and field service to support Industrial and Municipal customers throughout upstate NY. Essential characteristics include good communication skills, customer service skills, teamwork, attention to detail, ability to work independently and flexibility for reasonable travel. - Repair, maintenance and trouble-shooting of pumps, blowers, motors, and controls

- Prepare and maintain clear and accurate documentation for assigned work
- Maintain an organized, clean & resourceful work environment to include the shop, individual work areas, and service vehicle
- Possess basic experience with computers and wireless communication devices preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted
- Possess a High school diploma / GED equivalent
- Possess a Minimum of 5 years pump or other rotating equipment maintenance & repair experience preferred
- Must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test
- Must maintain an active, REAL ID compliant driver’s license with a clean driving record, or a valid U.S. passport, as required for access to federal facilities
- Repair, maintenance and trouble-shooting of pumps, blowers, motors, and controls
- Equipment start-up commissioning and training
- Prepare and maintain clear and accurate documentation for assigned work
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and suppliers
- Maintain an organized, clean & resourceful work environment to include the shop, individual work areas, and service vehicle
- Understand and adhere to all safety related policies, rules, and guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service
- Frequent day travel throughout upstate NY with some overnight travel required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
