Force Building Services is actively hiring Commercial Electrical & Low-Voltage Technicians to support projects in commercial and industrial environments nationwide. What You’ll Do

  •  Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical and low-voltage systems
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective repairs safely and efficiently
  • Work with systems including (but not limited to):
    – Low-voltage power and control wiring
    – Data, communication, and signaling systems
    – Industrial equipment, motors, panels, and lighting
    – Access control, sensors, controls, and related infrastructure
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and job specifications
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards (NEC, OSHA, site-specific requirements)
  • Coordinate with project leadership, field technicians, and support teams
  • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job progress

Requirements:

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel within the state and/or region
  • Out-of-state travel opportunities available depending on project needs
  • Travel time, lodging, and per diem provided per company policy (where applicable)


Required Qualifications

  • Licensed electricians OR experienced low-voltage / electrical technicians
  • Commercial or industrial field experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with low-voltage systems does NOT require a full electrical license
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in active job sites, warehouses, or industrial environments
  • Willingness to travel when required (paid travel and per diem provided)
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism   


Salary Information

$24.00 - $48.00 Hourly Wage
