We are currently seeking an experienced:

LEAVE OF ABSENCE COORDINATOR

Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Assists with the administration of leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.).
  • Assists with keeping track of employee paperwork deadlines
  • Scans and files paperwork sent by employees
  • Participates in benefit billing
  • Participates in weekly meetings with HR and Legal
  • Responds to employee general inquiries
  • Follow up with employees and management regarding return to work
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum high school or equivalent level skills and one-year experience in a personnel-related field.  Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field preferred. 
  • Knowledge of administration of leave programs and applicable laws.
  • Good organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to interact well with co-workers while maintaining strict confidentiality. 
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Must possess good communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner. 
  • Proficient knowledge of computers, word processing, especially Word and Excel. 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
