We are currently seeking an experienced:
LEAVE OF ABSENCE COORDINATOR
Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
- Assists with the administration of leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.).
- Assists with keeping track of employee paperwork deadlines
- Scans and files paperwork sent by employees
- Participates in benefit billing
- Participates in weekly meetings with HR and Legal
- Responds to employee general inquiries
- Follow up with employees and management regarding return to work
- Performs all other duties as assigned or required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school or equivalent level skills and one-year experience in a personnel-related field. Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of administration of leave programs and applicable laws.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to interact well with co-workers while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Must possess good communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
- Proficient knowledge of computers, word processing, especially Word and Excel.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
