Position Summary
Fisher’s Technology is seeking a qualified individual to fill the Logistics Coordinator position. This role will support the Distribution Center by coordinating the equipment delivery process, assisting with the delivery schedule, ensuring delivery timelines are met, and customers are supported throughout the delivery process.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring a professional and positive experience throughout the delivery process.
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end logistics — from reviewing sales documentation through assembly, scheduling, and final equipment delivery.
- Work closely with the Assembly Supervisor and Delivery Drivers to align equipment-build schedules with committed delivery timelines.
- Manage pending delivery pipeline and ensure accurate scheduling, tracking, and prioritization of deliveries.
- Verify all delivery details directly with customers to ensure accuracy and readiness.
- Understand equipment specifications and vehicle capacities to properly assign trucks and plan deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Communicate proactively with Sales and Service teams regarding loaner equipment, special requirements, or schedule changes.
- Identify and promptly escalate any assembly, scheduling, or delivery issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure all delivery documentation, including Proof of Delivery forms, is completed and returned to support accurate billing.
- Maintain accurate database records for customer, contact, and equipment information.
- Coordinate travel and/or accommodations for delivery teams when required.
- Follow documented procedures and effectively utilize company systems and tools to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or administrative support preferred.
- Adaptable and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and schedules.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and identify practical solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured processes accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
