Following the success of our flagship stores in Toronto and Vancouver and multiple pop-up locations across North America, Cozey is opening a new pop-up store in Los Angeles. This location will bring our customer-first, design-forward retail experience to life in an exciting new market. As this location will operate as a pop-up, we are looking for someone to join our team on a contract basis from February 9 to December 31, 2026.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, service-driven Retail Ambassadors to join the Cozey team in Los Angeles. As a Retail Ambassador, you’ll be on the front lines of the in-store experience : welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and helping them find furniture solutions that fit their lifestyle.

Some Retail Ambassadors may also be asked to take on Key Holder responsibilities, supporting store opening and closing procedures and acting as a trusted floor lead during assigned shifts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful, well-run space.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Greet and assist customers, offering thoughtful furniture and design guidance based on their needs.
  • Build genuine rapport with customers and deliver a high-touch, customer-first experience.
  • Collect customer information, create draft orders, and ensure timely follow-ups to support conversion.
  • Maintain Cozey’s visual merchandising, cleanliness, and organization standards at all times.
  • Develop strong product knowledge, understanding features, benefits, and use cases of each collection.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and key store KPIs.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, service standards, and store processes.
  • (For select team members) Support opening and closing procedures and act as a floor lead when assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong customer-first mindset with a friendly, approachable attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing space.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Interest or experience in furniture, home décor, or lifestyle retail is a strong asset.
  • Previous experience opening or closing a retail store is an asset for team members taking on Key Holder responsibilities.

What We Offer:

  • Hourly rate between $23-25 USD, based on experience, plus performance-based bonus eligibility.
  • Paid time off in line with local regulations.
  • Dynamic, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
  • Hands-on experience with a fast-growing retail brand in a high-visibility Los Angeles pop-up.

If you are passionate about customer service, have a knack for creating exceptional shopping experiences, and are excited about joining a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you! Join us on our mission to build the best customer experience in furniture and help create a world where everyone can feel at home.
