Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? Montclair Pet Hospital is looking for a skilled, compassionate VA or RVT to join our hardworking and family-oriented team.

The Role

You’ll support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced advanced general practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with exams, surgery, and dental procedures
• Sedation, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery
• Diagnostic and treatment support
• Small animal care with some exotic patients
• Maintaining a clean and organized hospital
• Collaborating closely with veterinarians and support staff

About You

• 3+ years of VA or RVT experience
• Strong anesthesia monitoring skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Comfortable in a high-caseload environment
• Leadership skills a plus

Schedule

• Full-time
• 10-hour shifts (7:30am–6pm or 8am–6:30pm)
• Saturday availability required once we open Saturdays

Compensation

• VA: $24–$28/hour
• RVT: $32–$35/hour
