School-based therapy is a unique opportunity to provide mental health services to students in their school buildings. This model reduces barriers related to finances, transportation, stigma and other systemic issues related to access to mental health care.
School-Based Therapists have an identified caseload of students. They provide individual therapy to and work collaboratively with school systems to support these students. School-Based Therapists may also provide training to teachers, give presentations in classrooms and provide other identified services to support healthy school systems. School-Based Therapists will work in one school district at either one or two schools.
Why Relate?
Relate values connection and relationships more than anything else. We strive to balance work and life by intentionally making avenues for staff to feel connected, by providing levity to counter the occasional heaviness of our work, and by working hard to keep billable minimums at a level that is lower than many other agencies.
We are life-long learners who highly value humility, humor, and elevating the client to expert in their own circumstances. We are a community that is striving to become more aware of the privileges we hold, to make space and platforms within our company for all voices, and to welcome members of BIPOC and historically marginalized communities into all levels of our team including management and the board of directors.
We are also a growing company, and we work hard to empower every employee to realize their dreams and contribute to a co-created vision of what mental health services and clinics could be.
If you share some of these priorities, visions and goals, we would love to welcome you to our team!
