Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Full-Cycle Recruiter to join our team at Visiting Angels West Metro. The ideal candidate will manage the full recruitment process while also handling retention and HR responsibilities in our fast-paced home health care environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that we attract and retain top talent, as well as providing essential HR support to promote a positive, supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement for a variety of positions within the home health care industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to ensure a strong and diverse pool of candidates.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to identify the best-fit candidates for various roles.
- Provide timely updates to hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines and status.
- Manage candidate offers, negotiations, and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Retention:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee retention and satisfaction within the company.
- Conduct exit interviews and employee surveys to gather feedback on job satisfaction and work environment.
- Analyze retention trends and create action plans to address potential concerns and enhance employee engagement.
- Support managers in developing and maintaining a positive and productive work culture.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Assist with general HR duties such as maintaining employee records, processing new hire paperwork, and administering employee benefits.
- Provide support for HR programs such as performance evaluations, training, and development initiatives.
- Assist with employee relations matters and offer guidance on conflict resolution, compliance issues, and workplace policies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal employment laws, including those specific to the home health care industry.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and foster a positive work environment.
- On call one day per week and once every 4 weeks Friday 4:30 pm to Monday at 8 am.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a full-cycle recruiter, preferably in home health care or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and interviewing strategies.
- Experience in employee retention strategies and HR support functions.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, especially as they relate to the health care industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS), as well as Google Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the home health care industry.
- Experienced full cycle recruitment experience.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
