About this position
In collaboration with the Professional Development Coordinator
- Conducts investigations of DDS/AID abuse and neglect complaints.
- Completes thorough and detailed investigation reports as required by Department regulations.
- Obtains documentation that recommendations from investigations have been completed and/or implemented.
- Coordinates submission of investigation reports and documentation of completed recommendations to appropriate state departments and CRI administration, as required.
- Complete any additional tasks as identified by Program Coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
- Must complete all training within 60 days of hire.
- Must complete all requirements necessary to maintain certifications.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be willing to travel for investigations.
Educational/ Professional Requirements
Minimum of two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities is preferred.
DDS Investigator Certification is preferred.
A degree in one of the following fields is preferred: Special Education, Human Services, Rehabilitative Counseling or Psychology.
