About this position

In collaboration with the Professional Development Coordinator

  1. Conducts investigations of DDS/AID abuse and neglect complaints.
  2. Completes thorough and detailed investigation reports as required by Department regulations.
  3. Obtains documentation that recommendations from investigations have been completed and/or implemented.
  4. Coordinates submission of investigation reports and documentation of completed recommendations to appropriate state departments and CRI administration, as required.
  5. Complete any additional tasks as identified by Program Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

  1. Must complete all training within 60 days of hire.
  1. Must complete all requirements necessary to maintain certifications.
  1. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.
  1. Must be willing to travel for investigations.

Educational/ Professional Requirements

Minimum of two years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities is preferred.

DDS Investigator Certification is preferred.

A degree in one of the following fields is preferred: Special Education, Human Services, Rehabilitative Counseling or Psychology.
