Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Configuration Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex electro-mechanical system configurations and a thorough understanding of the engineering change process. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and traceability of our products throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain (COP) configuration overhaul plans and (ILS) integrated logistics certifications.

• Manage the configuration overhaul plan, ensuring that all data is properly documented, reviewed, and implemented.

• Utilize ERP and PLM systems, such as iPDM or Windchill, to manage product data and configuration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, integration, and depot, to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of and aligned with configuration management requirements.

• Interpret engineering drawings and other technical specifications to ensure that products are built to the correct configuration.

• Conduct configuration audits to verify that products and documentation are compliant with established standards.

• Implement and maintain data management best practices to ensure the accuracy and integrity of product data.

Requirements:

Required:

? Proven experience in a configuration management role.

? In-depth knowledge of configuration management principles and practices as they apply to complex electro-mechanical systems.

? Experience with model based product support (MBPS).

? Experience with Configuration Overhaul Plans.

? Experience with ERP systems and data management practices.

? Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

? Telework may be authorized in accordance with contract requirements and company policy upon successful completion of initial training and demonstrated ability to independently perform duties as assigned; on-site presence is required until such sufficiency is established.


Desired:

CM qualifications  (CMTF III, CMII pro or equivalent).

Experience supporting Navy or other DoD programs.
