About this position
This position supports all analytic efforts of the company in analyzing secondary marketing data, management report development, working with several departments and managing projects. The position also supports business process improvement efforts including projects to enhance automation, quality, and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accept rate locks from internal and external clients and confirm rate locks back to the client.
- Review and verify price quotes and locks requests.
- Entering loan information required for locking, relocking, modifying, and extending mortgage commitments into LOS.
- Assisting inbound callers with pricing registration questions and procedures.
- Communicate with the mortgage loan officers, underwriters
- Reconciling daily locks.
- Providing price quotes for rates not published on rate sheets.
- Resolving price discrepancies at the time of lock and loan purchase.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates standard office equipment to include: calculator, photocopy machine, facismile machine, computer and printer, multi-line telephone
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or other related field
- Or 3 years’ experience in mortgage pricing and rate sheets.
- Strong mathematical/analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
