About this position
EventWorks is seeking a seasonal Dish Associate to start immediately and work through the busy season.
The Dish Associate is responsible for the care, handling, cleaning, and preparation of dishware and related tabletop items used at events. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality, presentation, and inventory integrity of cups, plates, silverware, glassware, and other dish items to ensure they meet Company standards before and after client use.
Dish Associates meticulously inspect, clean, sort, and package dish inventory to prevent loss or breakage and to ensure all items are event-ready. They pick and pull dish items according to event orders, verify quantities and product accuracy, and complete quality checks prior to staging or loading. Associates are expected to work efficiently to meet production timelines while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and accuracy.
This position requires close attention to detail, accountability for inventory, and the ability to work collaboratively within a warehouse team environment. Dish Associates must follow written instructions, order sheets, and inventory documentation to ensure accurate fulfillment of client orders.

Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and polish dishware to Company quality standards
- Inspect items for chips, cracks, stains, or defects
- Sort, count, and organize dish inventory accurately
- Pick, pull, and prepare dish items according to event orders
- Conduct quality control checks prior to staging or shipment
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transport
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Report damaged, missing, or low-inventory items to leadership
- Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, pull, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to safely use ladders and warehouse equipment as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to accurately count, read order sheets, and understand written instructions and numbers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
