Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Assisted Living Community

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of care provided and residents’ health records
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their well-being and dignity
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment
- Proven experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
