Where: Cumming, GA (Onsite only).

Salary: $95,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience.
Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will oversee all core accounting functions including financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and cash flow management, supporting a stable but growing business environment across a few simple legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead accounting operations including monthly close and consolidated reporting
- Maintain internal systems and refine reporting structures and chart of accounts
- Handle AP, AR, GL, payroll review, job costing, and bank reconciliations
- Manage intercompany transactions and produce accurate financial statements
- Coordinate with external partners on tax filings, audits, and compliance
- Strengthen financial procedures and ensure adherence to GAAP
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning efforts
- Deliver insights to leadership to guide decisions and vendor negotiations
- Mentor accounting staff and manage relationships with banks and insurers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 7–12 years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in an Accounting Manager or Controller-level role
- Strong knowledge of financial consolidations and internal controls
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (non-QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills
- Background in construction, distribution, service, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on in daily accounting operations
