Job Description: 

The Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association Cardiology I office is searching for a per-diem Nuclear Technician to join their growing team. This candidate must have previous Nuclear Medicine experience and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate has a ARRT or CNMT certification and wants to join a strong team. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities: 

  • Perform all Nuclear Medicine procedures with precision and accuracy
  • Prepare and administer diagnostic imaging examinations using radioactive agents
  • Operate and maintain equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness
  • Conduct regular and pharmacological stress tests as required
  • Assist physicians during treadmill stress tests and other procedures
  • Adhere to OSHA and state regulations to ensure safety and compliance
  • Collaborate with other members of the Nuclear Medicine team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and Radiology PACS systems effectively
  • Perform patient assessments and provide care for individuals of various ages

    Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
  • Current license in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Prior experience in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac PET Imaging preferred
  • CPR certification
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment in a highly professional manner
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service
