Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals to implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).


Requirements:

Duties:

- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA

- Collect data on observable client behavior

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Provide behavioral therapy in various settings

- Utilize medical terminology in documentation and communication

- Manage challenging behaviors effectively

- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations


Qualifications:

- Experience or knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

- Familiarity with behavior management techniques

- Background in behavioral health or related field

- Proficiency in data collection methods

- Understanding of care plans and their implementation

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient care standards


Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

- Proficiency in activities of daily living (ADLs) support

- Background in behavioral therapy

- Familiarity with medical terminology

- Strong grasp of behavior management strategies

- Knowledge of behavioral health practices

- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively

- Experience with care plan development and implementation

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
