Position Summary
The Preparation & Staging Associate supports production by preparing, staging, and tracking materials and finished goods. This role ensures product is accurately labeled, scanned, and staged according to production plans while following all food safety and quality standards.
This is a hands-on, physical role in a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and stage inventory for production and orders
Verify product, lot codes, quantities, and labeling
Wrap and label pallets and stage to correct locations
Scan product into inventory systems using hand scanners
Follow FIFO (First In First Out) inventory procedures
Read and follow work orders and production tickets
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas
Follow GMP, SOP, and food safety requirements
Report safety, quality, or food safety concerns
Assist other departments as needed
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Forklift experience preferred (training available)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Dependable, team-oriented work style
Bilingual is a plus
