Description:
A bar waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking drink orders, serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience. Take drink and food orders accurately and promptly serve them. 2
- Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks. Mix and garnish drinks according to recipes and portion control standards. 2
- Order Management: Input orders into the point-of-sale system and keep track of customer tabs. Ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer requests or complaints efficiently. 2
- Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glasses, and restocking supplies such as ice, mixers, and garnishes. 2
- Compliance: Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with local laws and regulations. Be knowledgeable about drink ingredients and allergy information. 2
