Job Summary
Responsible for the upkeep and repair of the hotel's interior and exterior, ensuring all facilities and equipment meet company standards for quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and kitchen equipment.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues with room furniture, fixtures, floors, walls, and other property elements.
- Guest Services: Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and work orders, resolving issues quickly.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies, maintain a safe facility, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- ** Groundskeeping:** Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel's exterior.
- Project Assistance: Help with special projects, renovations, and meeting room setups.
- Documentation: Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety checks.
- On-Call Support: May be required to handle after-hours emergencies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform various trade tasks (carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical).
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Physical stamina for demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with hotel maintenance software is a plus.
