About this position
Summary
The CMM Technician is responsible for ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the shift using CMM and assorted gauges, and special wheel test equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Sample Dicastal Processes using CMM programs and assorted gauges, special wheel test equipment.
· Make sure the sampling plan and 1st piece inspections are performed and communicated on the production floor.
· Assist in sorting and containment activities.
· Data entry and analysis SPC charts
· Complete all required paperwork neatly and in a timely manner
· Other duties as assigned or designated
Skills and Experience
· H.S. Diploma.
· Some knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft office)
· How to operate CMM and Hand gages.
· Good communication skills.
· Ability to problem solve.

Physical Work Conditions
· Must be able to work in a hot environment.
· Must be able to lift varying weights
· Must be able to push or pull carts of wheels.
· Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.
· Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when required.
