Qualifications
Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- Required
Prior work experience- Preferred, but not required
Licenses and Certifications- Required
State of Maryland Health Services NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Nuclear Medicine Technologist license- Required
CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR certification- Required
Compensation
To be discussed based on experience.
Responsibilities
Meet with patients to obtain their medical histories and explain diagnostic procedures and tests
Determine and prepare the equipment and supplies required for stress tests
Prepare and administer the proper dose of radiopharmaceuticals to patients by injection
Analyze diagnostic image results
Work under the supervision of physicians and in coordination with other medical professionals
Create and update patient records
