What You’ll Do
As a Sales Porter, you’ll support the presentation and readiness of vehicle inventory, ensuring every guest receives a polished and professional experience.
- Detail Vehicles Thoroughly: Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles, including wiping surfaces, vacuuming rugs, trunks, and seats to meet presentation standards.
- Prepare Vehicles for Showroom and Delivery: Ensure all display and sold vehicles are clean, fully prepped, and meet presentation standards for showroom display and special guest deliveries.
- Maintain Lot Organization: Arrange vehicles on the lot in alignment with Fletcher Jones and Optima Dealer Services’ operational standards.
- Manage Parking for Sold Units: Proactively ensure that designated parking is available for vehicles marked as sold to facilitate smooth guest pick-ups.
- Remove Window Tint: Safely and effectively remove window tint from vehicle interiors as needed or requested.
- Install and Modify Vehicle Accessories: Install license plates and remove emblems as per guest specifications, ensuring all installations meet dealership quality standards.
- Apply Cilajet Protection: Properly handle and apply Cilajet sealant to sold vehicles, following all application guidelines and safety protocols.
Additional Duties: Contribute to dealership operations and pitch in wherever needed.
What We’re Looking For
Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no restrictions or violations)
Minimum 2 Years of Driving Experience
Weekend Availability Required
Strong Navigation & Driving Skills
Excellent Time Management and Organization
Professional, Friendly Demeanor and Strong Communication Skills
Ability to Drive Manual and Automatic Transmission Vehicles
Comfort Handling Vehicles in Tight Spaces
Adaptable and Independent, Yet a Strong Team Player
Positive Attitude, High Integrity, and Reliability
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay: $17.00 – $19.50 (based on experience and qualifications)
Eligible full-time employees may receive:
