Weekend Shift Haeger Machine Operator

JOB PURPOSE:

Sets up and operates Haeger machine to specifications by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Must perform all job functions with safety as the number one priority

· Set up Haeger by using set up sheets to reference tooling and parameters

· Uses templates to correctly identify holes to be staked

· Uses Haeger to install pems into part per customer specifications

· References blue prints to ensure parts are conforming

· Confirms and controls quality by visually inspecting every part

· Prepares parts for shipping by following packaging guidelines

· Works as a team in a cellular format

· Keep a neat and organized work area

· Clean and examine tooling for damage

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Prior blue print experience preferred

· Prior manufacturing experience preferred

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

· Successful candidates will have good finger dexterity

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
