Description:
Purpose of the Job:
Manage the repairable material assets to satisfy inventory and customer demands.
Reports to: Director of Sales Operations, MRO
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create outsource work orders (WO)
- Create repair purchase orders (POs)\
- Obtain tech data reference information from repair stations
- Complete price negotiations as required
- Complete repair and overhaul purchase order follow-up/expediting
- Analyze vendor teardowns, pricing, work orders, etc.
- Write teardown reports for customer approval
- Evaluate and build relationships with repair stations
- Communicate with Sales/Customer Services regarding problem parts
- Research repair requests, as needed
- Locate repair sources based on history and external sources such as Haystack, technical data, and ILS
- Create, send, and follow up on repair request for quotes (RFQs) as needed
- Close WOs upon completion of unit
- Assist with other MRO related duties, as required
- Bachelor’s degree and / or 1-3 years of related experience
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
- Good technical background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows programs

- Export & ITAR compliance
- Aerospace Industry Quality Training, FAA 145, Traceability, 8130- 3 documents, ESD, Suspected Unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Repair Stations, and Standard Terminology
- Other Trainings as assigned
- 90 Day Probation OJT
