Role Summary: This position will control the flow of pallets thru the Morgan Foods system, supervise and direct the processes and activities for labels, corrugated, and partial pallets. The supervisor will be required to track and report monthly on the results of the assignments, while working with the Supply Chain Manager-Logistics to maintain budget compliance.
Essential Job Duties:
- Provide direct floor supervision to union employees
- Coordinate material flow within the department to ensure achievement of daily attainment goals
- Responsible for maintaining full and partial pallet inventories
- Monitor and maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain the daily shipment schedule
- Responsible for accurate and timely maintenance of employee time, attendance, and vacations
- Monitor PSA operations to ensure position compliance by employees and minimize downtime
- Responsible for coordinating pallet rental based on demand
- Administer union contract consistently and fairly
- Mentor and train employees to maximize individual and team productivity
- Enforce safety standards and operational procedures.
- Apply corrective actions as needed and participate in grievance action as required
- Responsible for reporting various metrics-daily, weekly, quarterly, and as required
- Participate and facilitate shift start and hand-off meetings
- Collaborate with HR as needed on all employee-related activities
- Back-up coverage for support and managerial personnel across any shift within the shipping & inventory department
- Other duties as assigned
· Qualifications:
Business or process management degree or high school diploma and 5 years experience
Skills/Abilities/Attributes:
- Driven to achieve and take ownership of areas under control.
- Strong experience with Microsoft and SAP
- Intermediate math skills
- Computer literacy at an intermediate to advanced level
- Strong communicator at all levels of the organization.
- Strong coordination, organizational, and planning skills

Schedule:
- 9:00 pm-5:30 am Monday-Friday
- The ability to work all shifts, for both short-term and extended periods, is a role requirement. Candidates unable to meet this requirement should not apply.
Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 5 years (Required)
- Supply Chain: 4 years (Preferred)
