Assistant Finance Manager

Job Overview
The Assistant Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting leadership with meaningful financial insights.
This position requires a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance day-to-day accounting responsibilities with forward-looking analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance
- Support management with ad hoc reporting and variance analysis
Accounts and Controls
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
- Develop and maintain financial systems, controls, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Prepare and assist in managing budgets and forecasts
- Develop cash flow projections and monitor working capital
- Analyze trends and provide recommendations to leadership
Audit and Compliance
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and documentation
- Support external auditors during audit cycles
- Ensure proper documentation and financial record retention
Cross Functional Support
- Partner with operations, sales, and leadership teams to provide financial analysis
- Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management or accounting
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial reporting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
