     GENERAL COLLISION Center - BaltimoreAUTO BODY REPAIR FACILITY PARTS MANAGER                                                                              JOB DESCRIPTIONGeneral DescriptionThe Parts Manager is responsible for working with vendors to check in, quality inspect/mirror match, organize & complete orders/returns all the parts necessary for repairs or requiring return. Verifying parts for correctness and quality, distributing parts to technicians, and maintaining the parts management system. Identifying then following up on any parts that are past-due on delivery/delayed and making sure vendors have supplied the actual part ordered. The parts manager works closely with the vendors and technicians to ensure that the right parts are ordered and received on time, every time.

job ResponsibilitiesProcess parts orders immediately upon receipt of completed estimateProcess orders, forms, and applications Responsible for receiving parts from delivery personnel and verifying parts for correctness and ensuring that they are not damagedLabeling parts with appropriate identificationDistribution of parts. Running partsKnowing the status of parts for all of their vehicles and proactively ensuring that all parts are available when needed. Communicating all parts order delays to production manager in a timely basisMaintain 24-hour turnaround time for returns on damaged or incorrect parts receivedMinimizes cost of lost, broken and damages partsManage parts and supplies, maintain inventory levels, and order as neededNegotiating and working with parts suppliers*Additional job tasks exist for this role that may not be listedCompetitive pay plan, health benefits, 401k matching, PTO/Sick Leave & MORE!​​PAY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE**​​ 

EQUIPMENT TOOLSStrong knowledge of automotive parts ordering and software Strong knowledge of ROME, CCC One a HUGE PLUS!Microsoft Excel, Word, InternetStandard office equipmentqualifications and skillsMinimum 2+ years automotive parts experience in the automotive collision and mechanical repair industryStrong time management & organizational skillsKnowledgeable in the realm of the automotive industry, vehicle components/panels/parts, etc.Experience in the auto body collision process/industryStrong attention to detailValid driver’s licenseHigh School diploma or GED
