What You’ll Do
- Draft motions and supporting papers; prepare for and appear at hearings as appropriate
- Manage written discovery: propound, respond, meet-and-confer, and escalate issues strategically
- Take and defend depositions (clients, fact witnesses; expert exposure as you progress)
- Represent clients at case management conferences, ex parte appearances, and other court proceedings
- Support trial teams with strategy development, witness prep, and trial documents
- Mentor junior associates on drafting, organization, and case execution
What “Success” Looks Like
In the first 60–90 days, you:
- produce clean work product with increasing speed and sound judgment
- stay on top of deadlines, communicate early, and manage your tasks without reminders
- handle discovery and motion work with discipline and professionalism
- earn trust to take on higher-stakes work (more depos, more hearings, more case ownership)
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- California Bar license in good standing
- 2–4 years of litigation experience (motion and/or deposition experience preferred)
- Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a paperless environment and adopting new tools
- Spanish bilingual skills a plus (not required)
- Team-oriented, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment

Location and Schedule
This is a full-time, onsite role based in our Century City office in Los Angeles.
Attendance is required Monday through Friday.
