Emergency Care team. Position Overview:
The Clinical Support Supervisor will help manage the daily operations of our Emergency Technicians and Assistants, coordinate work processes, and support the Emergency team. In addition to supervisory duties, there will be a hands-on component where the Clinical Support Supervisor will assist with various tasks as needed. This role requires flexibility, as the Clinical Support Supervisor will step in to handle any duties typical of a veterinary technician, depending on the needs of the team.


Pay Rate:   

  • Starting salary: $75,000 annually 

Schedule:

  • Schedule consists of two, dayshifts and two, mid-shifts per week with one weekend day per month.
  • Participation in on-call schedule
  • This is a supervisory and clinical position, 50-60% floor time expected

Requirements:

 Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for team of direct reports   
  • Manage scheduling, workflow, and task delegation to ensure optimal efficiency and patient care
  • Assist with training and development of team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality care standards
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and other leadership to implement and improve operational protocols
  • Act as a resource for clinical and administrative staff, addressing concerns and fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Maintain high communication standards with all team members and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional patient and client care

Qualifications:

  • Preferred:  Licensed CVT with supervisory experience. Will consider unlicensed Veterinary Technicians with experience.
  • Proven experience in coordinating work processes, team scheduling, and workflow management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining composure and focus.
