What is my role?
This role is responsible for managing and submitting all Hybrid Digital licensed sports graphic designs to league and team partners. The position oversees the end-to-end approval process for licensed sports apparel, ensuring all artwork meets league brand standards, trademark requirements, and eCommerce production specifications. This individual will also manage creative assets, submission tracking, and compliance documentation to support the Creative and Franchise Planning teams in delivering timely, brand-right assortments for online retail channels.
We are seeking a detail-oriented License Liaison to manage the submission and approval process for licensed Collegiate, NFL, and NBA apparel graphics within our fast-paced eCommerce business.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end licensor submission processes for licensed apparel graphics, including deck creation, artwork review, submission tracking, revisions, and approval documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with league and university licensing partners regarding submission status, feedback, compliance updates, and branding requirements.
- Ensure all artwork adheres to league and school style guides, logo usage rules, color standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries, including style guides, approved artwork, and required on-garment branding elements (e.g., neck labels, hangtags, holograms).
- Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Planning, Production, and eCommerce sales teams to align approvals with seasonal launches, key games, playoffs, and championship moments.
- Monitor league/brand updates, seasonal initiatives, and compliance changes to proactively adjust submissions and prevent rejections.
- Coordinate sample requests for licensor approvals, including order entry, tracking, quality review, shipment coordination, and follow-up.
- Support reporting and documentation needs related to audits, royalties, and approval records.
What You'll Need
- 1–3 years of experience in licensed apparel, sports merchandising, brand management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of sports league and collegiate brand guidelines and trademark compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and MS Office preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in sports and knowledge of major leagues, teams, and seasonal tentpole moments is strongly preferred.
