About the Role – Assistant Bottling Manager
We’re looking for an Assistant Bottling Manager to lead and oversee bottling operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role is hands-on and people-focused, requiring strong leadership and a proven ability to mentor supervisors, develop teams, and optimize production.
- Manage bottling operations to meet production and quality goals
- Mentor and lead supervisors and departmental staff
- Drive safety programs and ensure OSHA and company compliance
- Lead continuous improvement and capital projects
- Support new product development and equipment implementation
- Resolve quality issues and lead root cause efforts
- Coordinate cross-functionally with other departments (shipping, customer service, QA)
- Monitor, evaluate, and develop departmental performance and skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field within Supply Chain
- 7+ years of progressive experience in bottling operations or production, including direct team management
- Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring supervisors and frontline staff in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, with experience ensuring OSHA and company safety compliance
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing capital projects
- Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Industry experience in alcoholic beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or supply chain operations strongly preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, especially for leading diverse production teams (not a disqualifier, but a plus)
