About this position
This role requires traveling to perform service at restaurants around the Greater Grand Rapids Area.
May be required to work nights and weekends for urgent/emergency situations at restaurants.
References are required.
Background check is mandatory.
Facility Maintenance:
o Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and troubleshooting
o Ensure that all restaurant areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and restrooms, are well-maintained and safe
Equipment Maintenance:
o Perform regular inspections of kitchen and restaurant equipment to ensure proper functioning.
o Address any equipment malfunctions and report issues to management
Safety and Compliance:
o Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including handling chemicals and using tools safely
o Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with health and safety standards
Duties also consist of regular maintenance of kitchen equipment (e.g., broiler, fryer, toasters, freezers), furnace and a/c, painting, floor tile repair, plumbing and drain issues, external building, parking lot, and landscaping upkeep.
Respond to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
Candidates must have:
o 5- 7 years of restaurant related experience
o Own vehicle
o A valid driver's license
o Auto insurance and be willing to travel
o Open and on-call availability, including nights and weekends
o Clear record to pass a background check
