ER/ MS- Patient Care Coordinator/ Permanent Charge Nurse

The Patient Care Coordinator/Permanent Charge Nurse provides clinical leadership and oversight across both the Emergency Department and Medial/Swing areas. This role functions as a charge nurse support, assisting with staffing, patient flow, direct-patient care in both ED and Medical as needed, and complex clinical situations. This role also serves as a trusted resource for staff, ensuring consistent, safe, and high-quality patient care.

• Current North Carolina RN license or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact required.
• At least 3 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Prior experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, or team lead required
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
