Job Title: Oil and coolant Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
PART TIME - 20 hours a week Monday - Friday (mornings)
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB. Maintain the quality and quantity of coolant and oils.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintenance
- Maintains coolant and oil levels
- Maintains coolant quality by monitoring concentration values using a refract meter.
- Maintains coolant tower quality by monitoring concentration values using a refract meter.
- Operates forklift, will train.
- Change coolant and clean reservoirs per PM schedule as needed.
- Monitors inventory of oils, coolants, greases, oil filters.
- Must stay current with applicable safety training.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent..
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
