Process Flow Coordinator

JOB TITLE: Process Flow Coordinator
OBJECTIVE: Completes work cell flow from when part completes inspection approval all the way to shipping to customer.
SPECIAL WORK CONDITIONS AND AMERICANS WITH DISABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, bending and stretching
  • Lifting up to 50 lb. without assistance and over 50 lb. with assistance
  • Constant exposure to general shop conditions, including machine noise and metal dust
  • Constant repetitive use of hands, wrists and arms

Typical Job Requirements
  • Load and unload part in a large parts washer as required per job operations
  • Benchtop Assembly
  • Part mark using a laser part marker
  • Clock jobs in ERP system
  • Create packing slip and certificate of conformance
  • Prepare all required documents to present to source
  • Request and present to source
  • Coordinate and communicate any source issues
  • Once source is complete, package parts in plastic bags using the vacuum sealer
  • Crate parts for shipment with all required paperwork
  • Process shipment in FedEx
  • Create shipment in customer portal
  • Upload source documents in customer portal
  • Coordinate to maintain predefined shipping schedule
  • Familiarity of requirements for handling hazardous materials
  • Comfortable working around chemicals
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Coordinate with Production, Production Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Program Management to ensure appropriate scheduling, packaging, and movement of parts
  • Ability to work overtime with little or no notice
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Responsible for the retention and verification of all shipping records
  • Adherence to Company policies and procedures
Education & Experience
  • High School or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude and good work ethic desired
  • Prefer ERP experience (Epicor Kinetic ideally)
  • Preferably, three to five years of experience in a manufacturing facility
  • Ability to operate a standard forklift within 30 days
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
