Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing issues with manufacturing equipment and performing necessary repairs. This role also includes general building maintenance and repairs.

Position Requirements:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment and systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment
• Carry out various plumbing and carpentry tasks
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, digital voltmeters (DVM), and material handling equipment
• Identify and resolve electrical issues as they arise

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes
• Previous experience working on manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, welding machines, laser machines, press brakes, forklifts, etc.
• Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and identify malfunctions
• Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanical technician

Physical Demands:

• Individual must be able to move, lift, carry up to 65lb.
• Work environment includes exposure to humidity, heat, and cold in a warehouse setting
• Must be willing and able to walk 4-5 miles per shift
