We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Low Voltage Security Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for low voltage security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and intercom systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security technologies, construction practices, and project management principles. 

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Perform site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for estimating.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project scope and pricing.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients, including value engineering options.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and pricing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in estimating low voltage security systems (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related systems.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and bid processes.
• Proficiency in performing take-offs from drawing packages.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certifications (e.g. manufacturer and industry) preferred.

$85000.00 - $125000.00 Annual Salary
