Functions: Undercoat and rustproof vehicles
Relationships: Reports to General Manager/ Detail Manager
Responsibilities and Authority:
- Complete all required work on customer vehicles.
- Undercoat.
- Rustproof.
- Remain compliant with OSHA and PPE training.
- Inspect Lift / Equipment daily.
- Responsible for upkeep and appearance of work area.
- Perform light maintenance on equipment.
- Customer service on work performed.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Professional appearance. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift. Excellent communication skills. Computer knowledge and two years experience at a body shop are preferred.
Working Conditions:
Will stand, stoop, kneel, lift, push, pull, crouch and reach repeatedly during the shift. Will drive a company vehicle and customer vehicles during working hours. Will have personal interactions with customers. Will spend time outdoors on the lot year round. Will be exposed to heat, cold, noise, dust fumes, hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
