Summary

The Gaming Technician Supervisor is responsible for the Surveillance camera networks, repairs, installations and maintenance of all Gaming Control and Surveillance Department equipment. The Gaming Technician Supervisor’s schedule will be dictated by business needs, and may be called back in to work in an emergency. The Gaming Technician Supervisor will work closely with several departments in the Casino and all Tribal entities.


Responsibilities

· Perform daily maintenance and inspection of Surveillance network and equipment.

· Maintain a complete inventory of equipment and parts on hand.

· Install equipment and verify video recordings are at expected retention. 

· Assure that the Surveillance system is compliant with Tribal Internal Control Standards and the Minimum Internal Control Standards set by the NIGC. 

· Maintain the equipment malfunction log, and notify management of any equipment malfunctions. 

· Must maintain confidentiality of all department and Tribal activities.

· Supervise and train Gaming Technicians.



Requirements:

   

Qualifications/Education/Experience

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 

· Two years of experience in electronics with emphasis on high and low voltage preferred but not required. 

· Must have experience with computer networks and switches. 

· Previous casino experience is preferred but not required. 

· Must obtain and maintain an Augustine Gaming License. 

· Must have a driver’s license and remain insurable under Augustine Band of Cahuilla Tribe’s policy. 


Competencies and Annual Requirements

· Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other necessary software.

· Ability to program switches and servers.

· Knowledge of how to use and maintain the surveillance system.

· Ability to learn Tribal/State Compact, Tribal Gaming Ordinance, Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, Minimum Internal Control Standards; Federal, State and Tribal laws; Table games; Casino department policy and procedures.
